Lulu and the Lampshades
Luscious harmonies, skittling percussion and intricate arrangements provide the backbone for this London-based four-piece. Their song You're Gonna Miss Me sounds like it could have been recorded in the 1940s but became an Internet phenomenon last year.

North Sea Radio Orchestra
North Sea Radio Orchestra (NSRO) is a chamber group (or small orchestra to those of us who don’t know much about classical music). Like a quintessentially English eccentric they are clever, witty and not what you’d expect, creating a melodic fusion that is influenced by pop music and poetry. Usually found playing in London’s finest churches they’ll be right at home with the majestic acoustics of Cecil Sharp House’s Kennedy Hall.

Mrs Pilgrimm
With a beguiling voice that has been compared to Nico from the Velvet Underground and a mastery of the cello that can be likened to 80’s musical genius Arthur Russell, Sophie Williams (aka Mrs. Pilgrimm) makes a beautiful ethereal sound with just her voice, a cello and a secret box of tricks.
